Meet Our Founder
Vanessa Pichelli launched Siena Vida with a vision to create accessories and everyday essentials that are both beautiful and sustainable. What began with reimagining hair accessories has grown into a wider collection designed to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing style or durability. Dedicated to giving back, Vanessa ensures that a tree is planted with every order. She continues to listen closely to her community, creating thoughtful pieces that reflect both timeless style and conscious living.
Sustainability
At Siena Vida, sustainability isn’t just a practice - it’s a promise. We carefully choose eco-friendly fabrics for every piece we make, ensuring our designs reflect care for both people and the planet.
We believe small choices, made consistently, can grow into something powerful. That’s why we plant a tree for every order - no matter the size. It’s our way of giving back, of leaving the earth better than we found it, and of inviting you to join us on this journey.
Together, we can turn everyday essentials into something meaningful: a reflection of style, care, and a deeper connection to the world we share.
Locally Sourced Fabric
One of the most direct ways we can reduce our impact on the planet is by creating high-quality, long-lasting products from sustainable materials. Thoughtful, durable design helps combat the waste and harm caused by fast consumerism.
All of our fabrics are sustainably sourced from businesses. By supporting these partners, we’re not only fostering a stronger community, but also creating products that are better for both people and the environment.
Giving Back Locally
When we think about businesses giving back, we often picture enormous (and expensive) cheque presentations being given to charities. But there is so much more that can be done today to give back. Initiatives that go far beyond financial donations, and look to cement businesses as pillars of community betterment for generations to come.
It is for that reason that we are continuously promoting other amazing small businesses in our blog, planting a tree within our community for every order we receive and purchasing our sustainable fabrics from local, women-led businesses. All these initiatives are on top of the financial commitment we’re making to causes such as Women’s Habitat, and World Vision Canada. These organizations are dedicated to the breaking of barriers, uplifting of women and positive mental health advocacy.
